                                                               Labor Policies Colombia.

The economic history of the country in the last decade has taught us that sustained economic growth is not enough to achieve substantial reductions in the unemployment rate. In fact, the latter has shown a high persistence after the crisis of 1999 (in which levels of 20% were reached), despite the economic takeoff of the following years. The new generations of Colombians may seem oblivious to an unemployment rate of 7%, although this was recorded in 1995. In good time, the Government has implemented policies that attack some of the distortions in the labor market that have caused Colombia has one of the highest unemployment rates in Latin America, according to figures from the World Bank and Cepal.

What would you change about labor policies in your city?

There would be many things that I would like to change gender equality and equality between them, although it has been implemented hopefully in all jobs and have the same disposition when working, the increase in salary and other transport aid.
they would be of great help to solve many homes in the state of Mamanía, which, for the most part, is headed by mothers who are heads of families, along with this, so that the social security of workers is guaranteed.

The municipality of San Andrés de Tumaco, is an agricultural and tourism area because it has large hectares where they are growing bread products and that undoubtedly serve the sustenance of many families and the tourist part is undoubtedly Tumaco, the second most important Pacific port in Colombia and that is where its beaches and its food have distinguished themselves as a tourist spot for many people from other places to get to know it and enjoy its people, its traditions and customs.

Some of the main sources of employment in Tumaco are fishing with their purchase to send it to other places and the consumption of it in many homes in the state of Tumaco, the coconut to export for its consumption and to be able to take out countless things through this raw material, cocoa as an export product.

Some of the most recognized fisheries in the municipality of T umaco are, gilmar, cold fish, commercializing the red lobster, which buy, sell and distribute different kinds of fish, also of cocoa there are some associations that have been in charge of showing your product and today
in day be the cacao recognized nationally and internationally.
